  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 400 ml orange juice, (direct) or freshly squeezed
  • 1 pkt. pudding powder, vanilla

  • 2 packs of cream stiffener
  • Ladyfingers
  • 100 ml orange juice
  • 100 ml Cointreau

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 5 hours 45 minutes

Baking frame 25×25 or springform pan 26 cm

Beat the sugar and eggs until very fluffy. Combine the oil and milk and stir in slowly. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir in briefly. Pour into a baking frame or springform pan. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes. In the meantime, mix the orange juice with the custard powder and bring to a boil according to the package instructions. Let cool slightly and spread over the baked cake base. Once cooled sufficiently, whip the cream (with cream stiffener) until stiff and spread over the orange custard mixture. Mix the orange juice with the Cointreau (you can adjust the ratio to your taste), dip the sponge fingers in the mixture, and arrange on top of the cream. Sprinkle with white chocolate glaze. Be sure to let it chill.
