Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 ml blackcurrant juice (health food store)
  • 3 bags of spice mix for mulled wine
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 kg berries, mixed, frozen
  • 1 tbsp ginger, chopped
  • 1 pack of gelling sugar 3:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Bring the juice to a boil. Let the mulled wine bag steep for 15 minutes, then remove it. Stir in the thawed berries, juice, gelling sugar, cinnamon, and ginger. Bring to a boil while stirring. Then simmer for 3 minutes while stirring. Pour into jars, seal, and then turn upside down for 10 minutes. P.S.: Try swapping the juice for plain red wine.
