simple recipe for a deep baking tray

Using a hand mixer, mix the sugar with the softened butter or margarine in a baking bowl. Add the eggs and vanilla sugar and beat until fluffy, then gradually stir in the flour and baking powder. Stir in the low-fat quark well. If desired, you can stir a few drops of vanilla or lemon flavoring into the cheesecake mixture. Grease a deep baking tray well with butter or margarine and spread the cheesecake mixture evenly on the tray. Arrange the drained pineapple slices on top and, using a teaspoon, add a little strawberry jam to each pineapple ring. Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 40 to 45 minutes.
