Chicory baked with ham and goat cheese

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 chicory
  • 4 slices of cooked ham
  • 4 slice(s) goat cheese, mild
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

for a shallow casserole dish

Wash the chicory, remove the stalk if necessary (I don’t, I don’t find it bitter), and simmer in salted water for 10-15 minutes, depending on the strength. Grease a shallow baking dish with butter. Remove the cooked chicory from the water. Wrap it in a slice of ham and place it in the dish. Place a slice of goat cheese on each chicory and add a little of the cooking water. Bake for about 15 minutes at 175°C (350°F) top/bottom heat on the middle rack of a preheated oven, until the cheese is lightly browned. We serve it with boiled or boiled potatoes.
