Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced pork
- 500 ml tomatoes, pureed
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 small onion(s)
- breadcrumbs
- 1 cup sour cream
- salt and pepper
- oregano
- Vegetable stock powder
- Sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Knead the ground pork, diced onion, egg, and breadcrumbs together and form into small balls. Fry the meatballs in a pan until they are nicely browned. Remove the balls and set aside. Add the tomatoes to the pan. If desired, add a small cup of water. Season with stock, salt, pepper, and oregano to taste. Bring the sauce to a gentle boil. Turn off the stove or remove the pot from the heat. It shouldn’t be simmering. Stir in the sour cream. Add the meatballs to the sauce and let them simmer briefly. Season to taste with sugar or agave syrup. We like to serve it with rice, but it’s also delicious with pasta.
