American Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 113 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 60 g brown sugar
  • 30 g sugar
  • 140 g oat flakes, wholegrain
  • 100 g flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 27 minutes

Mix softened butter, egg, and sugar until a smooth dough forms. Stir in the oats. Add the flour. Mix the baking soda, vanilla sugar, salt, and cinnamon into the mixture. Mix well with a spoon or mixer. Stir in the chocolate chips. Place spoon-sized cookies on a baking sheet and refrigerate for about 2 hours; otherwise, the cookies will be very large. Preheat the oven to 175°C. Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, depending on the size. After 10 minutes, check if they are slightly brown around the edges. Tip: The amount of chocolate chips and cinnamon can be varied. I use about 0.5-1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
