Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 allspice berries
- 10 peppercorns
- 4 sausages
- 5 tbsp, heaped sugar
- 1 tbsp cream
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Combine some water, salt, and spices in a pot and bring to a boil. Then add the sausages and let them simmer. Do not boil! Caramelize the sugar in a pan. Dissolve the caramelized sugar in the sauce and season with butter and cream. Serve the braised sausage with boiled potatoes.
