Lemon yogurt donuts for the donut maker

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 55 g butter or margarine
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 150 g yogurt
  • 180 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 8 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Separate the eggs and beat the egg yolks with the margarine and sugar until frothy. Grate the lemon zest and stir it in with the yogurt. Mix the flour with the baking powder and add it. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in. If it’s too thick, just add a splash of milk. Grease the donut maker as needed and bake the donuts. For the lemon glaze, combine about 6 teaspoons of lemon juice and the powdered sugar and spread it on the donuts.
