Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g water, warm
  • 1 point dry yeast
  • 250 g wheat flour
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 15 g olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Quick baguette for singles without waiting time

Add all ingredients to the mixing bowl in the order listed above and mix for 2 minutes with the dough hook. Shape the dough into a log on a floured surface and place it on a baguette tray in the cold (!) oven. If necessary, make a diagonal cut in the top with a sharp serrated knife. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat, no fan/convection) and bake for approximately 35 minutes (depending on how quickly/slowly the oven heats up). The dough will then rise slowly while the oven heats up. It really couldn’t be faster.
