Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 15 g salt
  • 55 ml olive oil
  • 1 packet of yeast (dry yeast)
  • 275 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Using a dough hook on the lowest speed, knead until elastic. Cover with cling film and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour. Line a baking pan (approximately 25 x 11.5 cm) with parchment paper. Shape the dough into a log and place it in the baking pan. Preheat oven to 220°C. Meanwhile, let the dough rise in a warm place (approximately 60 minutes). Bake the bread in the oven for 35 minutes. Turn out of the pan and tap the base with your knuckles. When it sounds hollow, the bread is done. Let it cool on a wire rack. If desired, add a little Italian herbs; it’s also delicious!
