Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1,000 g wheat flour type 1050
- 3 tsp salt
- 800 ml water
- 1 tsp dry yeast
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 day 1 hour 15 minutes
Loosely mix flour, salt, and water with yeast (do not knead!). Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise at room temperature. After 24 hours, knead the dough briefly. Preheat the oven and a cast iron roasting pan to 250°C (top/bottom heat). Pour the dough into the piping hot pan, cover (to prevent moisture loss), and bake for 1 hour. Let it cool for a moment, then remove the bread from the pan.
