Black Bean Beef

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g green beans
  • 2 beef steaks
  • 2 large onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp sauce (black bean garlic sauce)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • Water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Wash and trim the beans and cut into pieces about 3 cm long. Cook in a little salted water for 8-10 minutes. Drain. Pat the steaks dry and cut across the grain into strips about 1 cm thick. Peel the onions and garlic. Finely dice the onions and chop the garlic very finely. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok. Fry the meat over high heat for about 3 minutes, stirring. Remove from the heat. Add 1 tablespoon of oil and heat. Fry the onions and garlic. Add the beans and fry for about 1 minute. Add the steak strips, black bean garlic sauce, soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of water, salt, pepper and about 1 teaspoon of sugar. Continue frying for about 1 minute, stirring. Serve with rice.
