Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g gnocchi
  • salt water
  • 500 g cherry tomatoes
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 tsp, levelled sugar
  • 2 sprigs basil
  • some salt and pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

quick and easy to prepare

Cook the gnocchi in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Meanwhile, wash the cherry tomatoes, drain them, and halve them. Melt the butter in a pan and briefly glaze the cherry tomatoes. Season with sugar and salt. Drain the gnocchi, then add them to the pan and toss to coat. Finally, arrange the gnocchi and cherry tomatoes on plates, garnish with basil, and season with pepper to taste. I love making this dish because it’s quick to prepare and tastes great. The quantities listed above will give everyone a plateful.
