Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 900 g prawn(s), (tiger prawns), with shell
- 1 bunch of thyme
- 1 chili pepper(s)
- salt and pepper
- Seasoning mix (Cajun seasoning)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 400 ml olive oil

Wash the prawns, pat dry, and place them in a baking dish, preferably flat next to each other—this way you’ll need less olive oil later. Chop the chili and peeled garlic and sprinkle over the prawns. Season with salt, pepper, and Cajun spice. Wash the thyme sprigs, roughly tear them, and scatter them over the prawns. Pour in olive oil so that the prawns are almost completely covered. Place in the oven (180°C fan-assisted) for 15-20 minutes (depending on size). If you’re really hungry, you can take them out as soon as they’re reddish-orange, but after 15-20 minutes, they’ll have a nice crust and some roasted aromas. Place the baking dish on the table and transfer the prawns to plates with a little of the oil. Serve with baguette or ciabatta.
