A pretty, aromatic souvenir

Roughly chop the herbs as desired and place them in a tall container with the salt. Blend thoroughly until no herbs are visible and the mixture is a nice green color. Let the salt dry on newspaper in the sun or in a dry place. The ingredients listed are examples. You can vary the herbs as desired. This method is also suitable for using up leftovers, as it preserves the herbs. Stored in a beautiful jar or tin, it also makes a great gift idea.
