Dry mix for quick salad dressing

Grind the mustard seeds in a mortar or coffee grinder; alternatively, use mustard powder. Mix with all other ingredients and store in a clean jar. Directions: Combine 3 tablespoons of cooking oil with 3 tablespoons of water and 10 g (approx. 1 tablespoon) of the mixture. Let it sit for about five minutes, then mix with your favorite salad. The mixture can also be used to make a yogurt or cream dressing. It’s also suitable as a seasoning for sour cream or crème fraîche-based dips and as an addition to doner kebab sauce. The finished dressing goes well with green leaf salads or cucumber salad.
