Maultaschen pan with crème fraîche and vegetables

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 2 small bell peppers, red, or one large
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 10 mushrooms
  • possibly vegetables, other
  • 3 packs of Maultasche(s)
  • 1 cup of crème fraîche or sour cream
  • e.g. chives
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • some oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

First, boil the Maultaschen in salted water or broth until they float to the top (takes about 3-4 minutes). Chop the vegetables and mushrooms and fry them. Then quarter the Maultaschen and fry them. Finally, add the crème fraîche and season with salt and pepper. Once the food is served, garnish with chives.
