Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat
  • 500 g bell pepper(s), fresh or frozen
  • 1 jar Ajvar, mild
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • possibly water
  • e.g. feta cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Quick and easy

The minced meat is fried in olive oil and seasoned with salt and pepper to taste. Then the pepper strips and ajvar are added. Everything is sautéed together. If desired, you can add a little more water. Season with paprika to taste. For a Mediterranean twist, you can also stir in some feta cheese at the very end. Serve with rice or bread.
