Meatloaf Cordon Bleu

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slices of meatloaf
  • 4 slices of cooked ham
  • 4 slices of cheese (Gouda)
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 tbsp flour
  • 6 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Have the butcher cut the meatloaf slices so they can be folded open like butterfly steaks. Then add the cheese and ham, fold the meatloaf back together, and bread the slices like schnitzel and season with salt and pepper. Fry in a pan until golden brown on both sides. Serve with potato salad.
