Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 thin pork schnitzels
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 bell pepper(s), red
- 75 ml white wine
- 200 ml cream
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Dust the schnitzels with flour and fry in the hot butter for 2-3 minutes. Remove from the pan, season with salt and pepper, and keep warm. Peel and finely dice the onions. Trim and finely dice the bell peppers. Add both to the roasting fat and fry briefly. Deglaze with white wine and add the cream. Season with salt and plenty of paprika. Let the sauce reduce for about 3 minutes. Add the schnitzels and let them simmer for about 1 minute. Garnish with mint, if desired. For more sauce, simply add more cream. If you want it a bit spicier, deseed a red chili and add it. Serve with pea and rice or croquettes and a salad.
