spicy baked nachos with minced meat and beans

Preheat the oven to 175°C. Peel and dice the onion, then fry in a little oil in a pan. Add the ground beef and fry. Add the tomato paste and fry briefly. Dice the tomatoes and add them. Rinse the kidney beans and add them. Deglaze with a splash of red wine, if desired, and reduce the mixture slightly. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Place half of the nachos in an ovenproof dish. Spread half of the meat and bean mix on top and sprinkle half of the cheese over it. Scatter the jalapeños between the nachos. Then layer the remaining nachos, meat, and cheese on top. Bake everything in the oven for about 15-20 minutes. It’s best served with lettuce strips, sour cream, and guacamole. Add chili sauce if desired.
