Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 120 g minced beef
  • 1 small onion(s), diced
  • 1 small garlic clove(s), finely chopped or squeezed
  • 40 g red bell pepper(s), diced
  • 60 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 40 g corn
  • 40 g kidney beans
  • Mexican spice mix
  • Tabasco
  • 2 large burger buns
  • 40 g cheese, grated
  • 20 g sour cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Brown the minced meat in a non-stick pan. Add the onion and garlic and fry. Add the bell peppers and crushed tomatoes. Simmer gently. Add the corn and kidney beans to the pan and season with spices. Preheat oven to 160°C (fan). Halve the burger buns horizontally and spread the minced meat mixture on the bottom halves. Spread sour cream on top and sprinkle with grated cheese. Place on a baking sheet in the oven and let the cheese melt for about 10 minutes. While the burger is cooking, brown the top half. Then cover the bottom half with the cheese and serve. Serve with salad.
