Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 slice(s) Leberkäse, cut approx. 0.5 cm thick
- 4 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 3 bell peppers, red
- 2 large onions
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 200 g sheep’s cheese
- margarine
- 12 olives
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven or 200°C conventional oven. Place the Leberkäse in a baking dish and spread with 2 tablespoons of mustard. Dice the peppers and onions, not too finely, and fry in margarine. Season with 2 tablespoons of mustard and the ketchup. Spread everything over the Leberkäse. Slice the feta cheese and arrange on top, scattering the sliced olives over the top. Bake everything until the cheese is lightly browned around the edges, which takes 15-20 minutes. Serve with fried potatoes and a green salad. Don’t add salt or instant broth; it’s salty enough.
