Leberkäse topped with paprika and feta cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slice(s) Leberkäse, cut approx. 0.5 cm thick
  • 4 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 bell peppers, red
  • 2 large onions
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • margarine
  • 12 olives

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven or 200°C conventional oven. Place the Leberkäse in a baking dish and spread with 2 tablespoons of mustard. Dice the peppers and onions, not too finely, and fry in margarine. Season with 2 tablespoons of mustard and the ketchup. Spread everything over the Leberkäse. Slice the feta cheese and arrange on top, scattering the sliced ​​olives over the top. Bake everything until the cheese is lightly browned around the edges, which takes 15-20 minutes. Serve with fried potatoes and a green salad. Don’t add salt or instant broth; it’s salty enough.
