Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pork schnitzels
  • 1 bowl of mushrooms

  • Handful of gherkins
  • 2 cups of cream

  • 4 slices of cooked ham
  • 4 slice(s) cheese, variety of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Season the schnitzels with salt, pepper, and paprika, sear on both sides, and place in a greased baking dish. Wash, trim, and finely chop the vegetables and sear them in a pan. Add the cream, ketchup, spices, and a little pickle juice. Place a slice of cooked ham on each schnitzel. It’s best to fold the cooked ham once to ensure it fits better. Spread the vegetables and sauce on top and cover with the cheese slices. Bake in the oven at 200°C (fan oven) for about 20-30 minutes, until the cheese is lightly browned. Serve with rice.
