Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 300 g quark
- 100 g butter or margarine
- 100 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 3 eggs
- 350 g flour
- ½ pack of baking powder
- e.g. milk
- e.g. cream
- 4 apples

Homemade, delicious, juicy, original fruit cake for summer
Combine the quark, butter, sugar, and eggs. Add the flour and baking powder, and a splash of milk, depending on the consistency. Pour the batter into a greased 26cm springform pan and top with the filling. You can slice the apples as desired, for example, by placing a ring of sliced quarters on the outside and piling apple slices on the inside. Bake at approximately 180°C (top and bottom heat) for 35-45 minutes (depending on the oven, preheating, and use of residual heat; use a toothpick to test for the cake’s frosting). While the cake is still warm, drizzle with a few drops of cream to glaze it.
