Apple Chai Muffins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour, possibly spelt
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 7 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 300 ml liquid (oat chai drink)
  • 2 tbsp spice(s) (e.g. gingerbread mix or Arabic sugar)
  • 2 apples

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 50 minutes

vegan, makes 15 pieces

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, oil, oat chai drink, and the spices. Then stir in the chopped apples (if the batter is too thick, add a little more oat chai drink). Pour into muffin cups (a muffin tray is easiest) and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes. They taste best after about a day. They’re not as tasty warm.
