Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 300 g flour, possibly spelt
- 250 g sugar
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 7 tbsp vegetable oil
- 300 ml liquid (oat chai drink)
- 2 tbsp spice(s) (e.g. gingerbread mix or Arabic sugar)
- 2 apples
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 50 minutes

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, oil, oat chai drink, and the spices. Then stir in the chopped apples (if the batter is too thick, add a little more oat chai drink). Pour into muffin cups (a muffin tray is easiest) and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes. They taste best after about a day. They’re not as tasty warm.
