simple and delicious, for about 60 cookies

Cream the butter until fluffy. Add the powdered sugar and salt and mix briefly. Mix the flour with the walnuts and spices. Using a wooden spoon, fold into the cream. Then quickly knead with your hands. Divide the soft dough into 3 pieces and place on plastic wrap. Shape into rolls about 3.5 cm in diameter while still in the wrap. Chill for about 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Cut 1 cm thick slices from the rolls, place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for about 12 minutes. Once cooled, coat the cookies with the chocolate coating and place half a walnut on each one. Makes about 60 cookies.
