Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicory, approx. 500 g
  • 4 slice(s) cooked ham, large
  • 200 g cream cheese (herb)
  • ⅛ liter vegetable broth
  • ½ cup cream
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • ½ bunch chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

in cream cheese sauce, quick and delicious

Clean the chicory (the leaves can be removed; the cob doesn’t need to be left whole), wash it, and cook it in boiling salted water for 3-5 minutes. Drain and wrap it in ham. Whisk together the cream cheese, broth, and cream and pour it into a shallow baking dish. Place the chicory and ham rolls in the mixture and sprinkle with the diced tomato. Oven cooking is best, but microwave cooking is also possible. Oven: Bake at 200°C (preheated, fan-assisted) for about 30 minutes. Microwave: Cover with microwave foil, cook at 600 watts for 11 minutes, then let stand for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with chives. We like this best with rice.
