Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 kohlrabi
  • 600 g potatoes
  • 500 g bratwurst, coarse or pork mince
  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 30 g processed cheese with herbs
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Räbchen casserole

Peel the kohlrabi and potatoes, cut them into sticks, mix them, and place them in a covered casserole dish with a capacity of approximately 3 liters. Cut the bratwurst into pieces or squeeze the sausage out of its skin (I prefer minced pork, which spreads more evenly) and spread it over the potato and kohlrabi sticks. Mix the cream and processed cheese in a shaker, season generously with salt and pepper, and pour over everything. Microwave with the lid closed for 20 minutes at 800 watts. If you like cheese, sprinkle some more cheese on top 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
