Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 125 g bacon, diced
- 1 onion(s), diced
- 600 g kale, frozen, not thawed
- 400 g potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup meat broth
- 300 g sausage (Mettenden), sliced
- 3 tbsp, leveled mustard
- Salt
- pepper
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
with potatoes and Mettenden, from the microwave
Sauté or fry the bacon and onion cubes for 3 minutes at 600 watts. Add the potatoes and cabbage and pour over the broth. Cook covered for 14 minutes at 600 watts. Add the sausage, mustard, and seasonings, and stir well. Cook with the lid on for another 14 minutes. A 3-liter microwave-safe bowl with a lid is suitable. Variation: Instead of the mettenden, you can also form balls from the bratwurst mixture and add these after 14 minutes.
