Cashew sauce

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 ml plant-based drink
  • 2 tsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 100 g cashew nuts, optionally soak beforehand
  • 2 tbsp, heaped nut butter, e.g. peanut butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

vegan, vegetarian

Finely blend the soaked cashews with the plant-based milk. Add the remaining ingredients and blend again. Pour the sauce into a saucepan and heat gently; no need to boil. It tastes great with baked potatoes and vegetables.
