Bolognese with peas and cream

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 kg tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 2 pinches of pepper
  • 2 tbsp, heaped paprika powder, sweet
  • 1 tsp basil, dried
  • 1 tsp dill, dried
  • 400 g whipped cream
  • 1 can peas, 200 g

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

suitable for lasagna and pasta

Dice the onion and grate the garlic. Heat the oil in a pan. Once the pan is hot enough, add the minced meat and fry for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add the onion and garlic and fry together for another 5 minutes. Deglaze with the pureed tomato and add all the spices and herbs. Simmer on low heat for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add the heavy cream and peas and cook for another 10 minutes. Goes well with lasagna and pasta.
