Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 rolls
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 500 g lettuce (cabbage)
  • 8 slices of cheese (Gouda)
  • 2 small tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • oil

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Cut open the buns, cut the tomatoes into 8 slices, and drain the coleslaw in a colander. Spread the drained coleslaw on the bun halves. In a bowl, combine the ground beef with mustard, tomato paste, and salt, and form eight equal-sized burgers. Heat oil in a pan and fry the burgers. Place the cooked burgers on the buns, top with tomato slices, and cover with cheese. Bake in the oven at 150°C (300°F) for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese has melted.
