Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves of garlic or 1/2 bulb of Chinese single-clove garlic
  • 2 rolls
  • 250 ml milk
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • 3 tbsp clarified butter
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • some breadcrumbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Heat the milk and soak the rolls in it. Dice the onion and garlic. Remove the root and green parts of the leek. Finely chop the white leek and parsley. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan and sauté the onions, garlic, and leek for about 3 minutes, then let cool. Squeeze the liquid out of the rolls well. Place the minced meat, rolls, parsley, cream, eggs, and mustard in a bowl, add the onion and leek mixture, and knead everything well. Season well with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and paprika. Form the dough into small balls and flatten them into small cakes. Coat them in a little breadcrumbs and fry in the hot butter for about 4 minutes on each side.
