Chicken Cheeseballs Deluxe

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 30 g wheat flour
  • 180 g mozzarella, grated
  • 2 spring onions
  • ½ tsp paprika powder, hot
  • 1 tsp rosemary, ground
  • ½ tsp garlic granules
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • Oil or fat for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Briefly rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat dry with kitchen paper. Then place the chicken breasts on a baking tray lined with baking paper and place in an oven preheated to 180°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes. Finely chop the spring onions. When the chicken breasts are golden brown, place them in a bowl and shred them using two forks until they are nice and small. Once the shredded chicken breasts have cooled, add all the ingredients except the breadcrumbs to the bowl. Mix the ingredients with your hands. Form the mixture into ping-pong ball-sized balls and then roll them in breadcrumbs. Fry the balls in hot oil for about 3 minutes.
