Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g margarine
- 300 g sugar
- 150 g flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 4 m.-sized eggs
- Grease for the molds
- 100 g almond flakes
- 800 g apples, cut into pieces
- 6 sheets of gelatin
- Water for soaking
- 1 pack of cake glaze
- n. B. water
- 400 ml cream
- possibly cream stiffener
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- some lemon juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat, fan oven: 160°C). Beat the margarine and 100g of sugar until fluffy. Then sift in the flour and baking powder. Separate the eggs, whisk the egg yolks, and add them to the mixture. Knead the ingredients into a dough and pour into two greased 24cm springform pans. Beat the egg whites and the remaining sugar until stiff peaks form and spread the mixture on the bases. Sprinkle the almonds on top and bake for 20-25 minutes. Cut the peeled apples into pieces, drizzle with lemon juice, and sauté for 4 minutes. Soak the gelatine according to the package instructions and then dissolve it in the apple mixture. Prepare the cake glaze according to the package instructions. Spread the apple mixture and the cake glaze on one of the cake layers. Let cool. Whip the cream with vanilla sugar (and cream stabilizer if desired) until stiff peaks form and pour over the cooled mixture. Divide the second layer into cake slices and place on the cream.
