Carrot and corn mince pot

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 kg carrot(s)
  • 2 cans of corn, 450 g each
  • 1 kg minced meat, mixed
  • 2 onions
  • 5 packs of tomatoes, pureed, 500 g each
  • 4 tbsp, heaped oregano, dried
  • 1 tbsp, heaped vegetable stock powder
  • 2 tsp, leveled salt
  • 2 tsp, levelled pepper, white
  • 1 tsp, levelled sugar
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 hours 10 minutes; Total time approx. 4 hours 30 minutes

from the 6.5 liter slow cooker

Peel and slice the carrots. Drain the corn. Dice the onions and fry them with the ground beef until the meat is crumbly. Add the onions to a 6.5-liter slow cooker along with all other ingredients and stir to combine. Cook on “High” for 4 hours. Serve with rice, spelt, Ebly, or bread.
