Garlic puree with thyme

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 bulbs of garlic
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 stalks of thyme, fresh
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Drizzle the garlic bulbs with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add 2 sprigs of thyme and wrap everything in aluminum foil. Bake in a preheated oven on the second rack from the bottom at 200 degrees (gas mark 3, fan oven 180 degrees) for 45-50 minutes. Remove the garlic bulbs and let them cool slightly. Then remove the cloves from the bulbs and press out the insides with your fingers. Crush the garlic with a fork. Stir in the remaining olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Pick off the leaves from the reserved thyme, chop them, and stir them into the garlic puree.
