Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can tomato pulp
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 sprigs rosemary
  • 2 cl gin
  • 1 half lemon(s)
  • 1 tsp pepper, coarsely ground
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Sauté the tomato paste with rosemary sprigs and pepper in olive oil in a pan. Deglaze with gin and let the alcohol evaporate briefly. Add the tomato pulp to the pan, bring to a boil, and add the lemon juice. Season with sugar and salt, and let the spicy dip simmer until ready to serve.
