Tofu marinade

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • Tofu (firm natural tofu) packs of 200 – 250 g
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • pepper
  • 3 spring onions, very finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp peanut oil
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Mix the ingredients of the respective marinade thoroughly. Dice the tofu and carefully pierce them with a fork or wooden skewer. Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and marinate for 30 to 50 minutes, turning frequently. Then drain the tofu and continue using as directed in the respective recipe. The marinade can also be added to the sauce, adding a tablespoon at a time.
