Sauerkraut mince with prunes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g sauerkraut (wine)
  • 300 g minced meat
  • 200 g herb cream cheese
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 300 ml beef broth
  • 15 prunes
  • 2 tsp, heaped tomato paste
  • 2 tsp, heaped paprika paste
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Finely chop the onions and garlic and fry in oil. Add the ground beef and season with salt and pepper, along with other spices if desired, and continue frying. Once the ground beef is cooked through, pour in the meat broth and sauerkraut. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring, and gradually stir in the paprika and tomato paste. Quarter the prunes, add them, and simmer. At the very end, stir in the herb cream cheese.
