Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1,000 g pork schnitzel, cut into thin strips
  • 20 ml olive oil
  • 450 g bell pepper(s), chopped
  • 200 g onion(s), diced
  • 10 g garlic, finely diced
  • 300 ml tomato ketchup
  • 100 g tomato paste
  • 750 ml water
  • 10 g salt
  • 5 g sugar
  • 2 g pepper
  • ½ Bay leaf, ground into powder
  • 5 g paprika powder, sweet
  • 2 g paprika powder, hot
  • 2 g smoked paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Brown the peppers, onions, and meat one after the other in olive oil. Add the ketchup, tomato paste, and water to a large pot and the fried meat. Then add the ground spices and garlic. Simmer the whole thing on low heat for about 1-2 hours. Always serve with basmati rice.
