Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 chicken
  • 0.38 liters of yogurt
  • 1 tsp paprika powder, hot
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • peppercorns
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • Salt
  • 2 bunches of parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 20 minutes

Make a marinade with yogurt, paprika, ginger, chopped garlic, crushed peppercorns, and salt. Cut the chicken into 8-10 pieces, pierce all over with a fork, place in the marinade, and let it marinate for 10-12 hours. Turn the pieces occasionally. Heat a little oil or butter in a large pan, add the chicken pieces, and sear on all sides. Add the chopped parsley and cover. Cook over high heat for 5 minutes, then reduce to medium heat.
