Garlic beans

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g green beans
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 tsp, heaped tomato paste
  • savory
  • Broth, granulated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Clean the beans and break them into pieces. Cook them in water with salt and a little savory. Finely dice the onion and garlic cloves and sauté in 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the peeled and diced tomatoes and simmer for about 5 minutes. Add the tomato paste, granulated stock to taste, salt, and pepper, and let the sauce simmer a little longer. Remove the pan from the heat and carefully stir the drained beans into the tomatoes. Season the vegetables again to taste. These vegetables pair well with anything stir-fried.
