Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2.4 kg onion(s)
  • 100 g lard
  • 2.4 liters of meat broth
  • 4 tbsp cognac
  • Pinch(s) of salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Peel the onions and slice them into rings. Then fry them with the lard. Then add the meat broth, cognac, and spices and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 20 minutes. Serve hot.
