Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 ml milk
  • 150 ml cream
  • 75 g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), slit
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • possibly chocolate shavings or
  • Cocoa powder or
  • cream, whipped

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Combine milk, cream, chocolate, vanilla pod, and sugar in a saucepan and heat gently while stirring. Wait until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is creamy. Then pour into mugs and garnish with chocolate shavings, cocoa powder, or whipped cream, if desired. This will make any chocolate lover’s heart beat faster.
