Minced meat – rice – pan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 jar peppers, grilled with garlic
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 500 g minced meat
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 200 g rice
  • 2 tsp vegetable broth
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 100 g feta cheese
  • marjoram

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

with peppers and feta

Drain the peppers, reserving the oil. Finely dice the onion, garlic clove (from the jar), and peppers. Heat 3 tablespoons of the oil and fry the minced meat in it. Briefly fry the garlic and onion. Season with salt and pepper. Add the rice and peppers and deglaze with about 375ml water. Cover and cook for 12 minutes. Add the finely chopped spring onions and cook for another 8 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and marjoram. Crumble the feta over the top. You may need to add more water halfway through.
