- 4 chili peppers, mild or hot, more if desired
- 2 pinch(s) chili powder (e.g. Pul Biber)
- 50 ml olive oil
- some pepper, black
- some parsley
- 1 pinch(s) salt
- 3 shots of olive oil, for drizzling
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Salt the cooking water and cook the spaghetti as needed. Dice the garlic and slice the chili peppers into rings. In a small pan, sauté the olive oil with the diced garlic (3-4 cloves) (do not let them brown). Slice the chili peppers (4-6 pods) into rings, add a little chili powder (e.g., Pul Biber, available in any Turkish grocery store), and sauté everything. After the spaghetti is drained, stir in the garlic, chili, and olive oil. Stir in some parsley and freshly ground pepper. Finally, add 2-3 more drops of olive oil until the spaghetti is nicely shimmering.
